The positive side to Pakistan

9/11 was a date that not only set a new course for the rest of the world but also changed things drastically for Pakistan as well. The image of our country deteriorated after this event and to such extent that Pakistan was being associated with the word “terrorism” all over the world. Suddenly, people who didn’t even know that a country like Pakistan ever existed now were speaking against it saying it was giving birth to terrorists. For a country that fought years to get independence only to see itself get stuck in an even worse dynamic is more than heartbreaking.

Such discouraging attitude of the world towards us and feeling of inferiority is the reason why our people are head over heels when someone from outside praises their time spent here. It is the very reason why our people are so welcoming and looking forward to make that time spent a memorable one that the person always remembers in positive light. People, who have actually come here from the outer land and spend some time, have realized themselves how different Pakistan really is from the image that is portrayed in the outside world. The experience they have almost takes them by shock and in total awe for this beautiful land of extremely hospitable people.

Crime, danger and risk of losing life are present in almost every part of the world. Good and bad people are present everywhere and Pakistan is no different from the rest of the world. Just because a bunch of famous people have something bad to say about the country doesn’t mean we blindly believe their words. Like people travel to visit various destinations of the world, they should certainly come to Pakistan and see for themselves the amazing land of four seasons, mountains, rivers and multiple breath taking views.

Why to visit Pakistan?

The people are amazing
Undoubtedly, Pakistanis are known for their extreme hospitable gestures and a welcoming attitude. Whether the streets of Lahore or the valleys of Hunza; people are always more than happy to welcome foreigners and make them feel at home. More than you plan to enjoy your trip; they want you to enjoy their country which is why they will leave no chance to place you in your most comfortable state. Their signature drink, a cup of tea, is must even if you drop off anywhere just to ask for directions. Moreover, since the northern areas are a little difficult for travellers due to their extreme weathers, local residents are willing to offer their place for as long as they want to stay. The locals there understand how difficult it is to spend days and therefore they become extra helping to ease the time for those travellers. You will make great friends there with both adults and kids; in fact the kids will surely prove to be a great company no matter where you go

Heavenly landscapes
If you have ever been fond of reading old literature novels where there is almost a fantasy like description of nature with mountains, snowy glaciers and deep forests; well, all of it will become true in Pakistan. The land is blessed with all forms of nature starting from the northern areas all the way to southern areas. You will find desserts, springs, rivers, mountains, mines, caves and what not. One time visit to the country will not be enough to discover all the unreal landscapes that it is blessed with. Without any doubt, it is the most diverse land you will come across; a heaven for those in search of adventure.

Everything is possible here; expect the unexpected
Contrary to the common image that the rest of the world has about Pakistan as a backward place with only male dominance to be seen everywhere; the country is just as normal as any other that you have been to. Expect being invited to pool parties, raves, concerts and a whole lot of shopping fiestas. You will find everything here that you enjoy back home; in fact, some things might just be more interesting here because of the happening and joyful audience.

Multicultural areas
Probably the one thing that truly represents Pakistan is the variety of cultures that reside in here. Every tribe and group of people has their own set of traditions and ways of living that make it a colorful country. Every group respects the other area’s traditions and accepts the individuality of all those living here. If you are the kind of person that likes exploring different cultures, then a visit to Pakistan will give you more than you expect to find.

It is safe for you
A common question that people usually ask is whether it is a safe place to travel to or not. Well, the answer to that is yes it certainly is. There is a population of more than 200 million people and they all are living their lives on a daily basis without the fear of dying the very nest. Yes, there are some areas which are a little more dangerous but even those areas are protected by police forces. Moreover, the major areas that are tourist attractions are all secured with extra forces just so the travelers are mentally satisfied. As long as you are nice to other people, they will have no reason to hurt you in any way. And with foreigners, Pakistanis are extra sweet and protective; they will sacrifice their own comfort just to make sure that you get to spend a good time here. So, it is our duty to respect that gesture and spread a positive image of the country wherever we go.
